Are you a closet workaholic? Do you openly flaunt your workaholism alongside other isms, are you a reformed workaholic or are you a truly enlightened being on the steady road to that sometimes elusive work life balance?
Fear not if you are a workaholic, the answers you are seeking may well lie in here. After a few weeks of coaching people at both ends of the workaholic scale, I have developed a manifesto for workaholics. This is drawn largely on the work of Workaholics Anonymous a serious organisation doing great work across the world based in California.( see www.workaholics-anonymous.org). I have set out my version in full below- there are 12 steps (of course) and a set of principles.I hope something in here resonates.

- We admit we have been powerless over our compulsive working ,that we have created unmanageable lives.
- We have come to believe that something greater than ourselves would restore us to sane living.We accept that it is down to us.
